“A lie doesn’t become truth, wrong doesn’t become right, and evil doesn’t become good, just because it’s accepted by a majority.” ~Booker T. Washington

PRELUDE: Holy God, We Praise Thy Name Cindy Berry arr.

WELCOME

OPENING PSALM: 133
How very good and pleasant it is when kindred live together in unity!
It is like the precious oil on the head, running down upon the beard, on the beard of Aaron, running down over the collar of his robes.
It is like the dew of Hermon, which falls on the mountains of Zion. For there the LORD ordained his blessing, life forevermore.

OPENING PRAYER
As we draw our spirits together in worship this morning, O God, we pray that your spirit will be our strength, our center point, and our compass. We are all to aware of the opportunities we have passed up to be your hands and your heart in this world so we gather to ask you to help us in to living lives that are a blessing to those around us instead of a hindrance to their daily needs. Help us to include rather than exclude, to break down walls rather than build up, and to welcome instead of turn away. Help us to live into the ways You taught us, and to learn from our mistakes. Let your word be our guide, your love be our comfort, and your promises be our hope.
