OPENING PSALM 1215 Rev. Tom Gough
Those who trust in the LORD are like Mount Zion, which cannot be moved, but abides forever.
As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the LORD surrounds his people, from this time on and forevermore.
For the scepter of wickedness shall not rest on the land allotted to the righteous, so that the righteous might not stretch out their hands to do wrong.
Do good, O LORD, to those who are good, and to those who are upright in their hearts.
OPENING PRAYER Rev. Tom Gough
Justice and peace are part of the promise to all Your people, O God. Fear and anxiety should have no hold on our hearts. But that is too easy to forget. We are so ready though Gracious God; so ready to behold the presence of your spirit among us. To glimpse the road through the wilderness and the oasis from which You beckon us on. We gather and worship as we can, Ancient of Days, and look forward to that day when we can gather restored and in joy.
