On Saturday, April 30, 2022, at 8pm in our Sanctuary, enjoy listening to a full orchestra of local professional musicians under the direction of conductor Thomas Shoebotham. 100% of the proceeds will go to the non-profit Nova Ukraine to address the ongoing humanitarian and refugee crisis in Ukraine. In “A Winter Gift,” Legends of the Celtic Harp step into a magical world of Irish and English literature, Celtic legend, and traditional folk beliefs and draw out tales such as “A Child’s Christmas in Wales,” a chapter from “The Wind in the Willows,” and passages from Shakespeare, William Butler Yeats, and Thomas Hardy, and mingle them with beloved and original pieces of seasonal music.
