Advent 2017

Such life often leaves us stressed, scattered, lonely, and distracted. However, if we come to realize that we can get no further on our own, we might turn around and seek community. We might opt for a path that can eventually lead to wholeness. [...]

Spiritual Exploration Group

Beginning on Wednesday, January 7th, Rev. Tom will be offering a weekly opportunity to gather for spiritual inquiry, practice, and support. We will meet over lunch (bring your own) from 12:30 to 2:00 p.m., engage in practices like the Lectio Divina, and discuss books and items related to spirituality in the 21st century. We’ll look at Christian scripture and history, and the spiritual traditions of many religious faiths. We will listen to one another and pray together. The intention is simple, to deepen our own sense of spirit, and our spiritual connections to the world.

STAR House

STAR House

The Community Services Ministry Team is once again supporting STAR House (St. Andrew’s Residential Programs) Foster Care in bringing Christmas joy to the youth in their care. We will be donating Christmas gift bags, each filled with a gift card and miscellaneous Christmas “stocking stuffers.” Empty bags may be picked up on Sunday, November 30, and returned either of the following Sundays, December 7th or 14th. Thanks for your support in helping foster youth have a happy holiday!
