Catena Labyrinth Walk

Holy Saturday, April 16, from 4pm – 8pm
Sign up here to walk the Labyrinth (directions to the labyrinth)

This involves a sequence of walkers at the labyrinth of First Congregational Church, San Jose, intentionally preparing for Easter and celebrating the season of regeneration. The event will occur on Saturday, April 16, from 4pm to 8pm. You can sign up for a 15-minute time slot as an individual, household, or a group of no more than four with whom you are comfortable walking. There will be peaceful background music to facilitate the meditative mood.

You do not need to be a member or attendee of the church. We do ask that you prepare yourself for the event in whatever way you choose and observe silence while on the premises. You may need to wait for the previous individual/group to finish before beginning your walk.

The original meaning of Catena is a chain or connected series, especially of extracts from the writings of early leaders of the Christian church. For us, this is a sequence of spiritually present individuals who bring a sense of continuity to our shared experience.

No masking is required, but if you develop symptoms consistent with COVID-19, we ask that you cancel your reservation and use the labyrinth another time when you are well.

Thank you for choosing to be a part of this experience!
