We are an Open and Affirming space for everyone, regardless of gender, race, sexual orientation, or any other identifier. We believe in a fully open, loving, and affirming community and we are committed to the physical, emotional, and mental safety of everyone within our community. We are a small group of 6th-12th graders, which gives us the flexibility to create activities and programs that directly relate to your teen’s needs.
At youth group, we regularly discuss topics of faith, social justice, gender and sexual identity, racism, and bullying. We meet regularly with our minister to discuss our faith development as well as addressing some of the personal challenges teenagers face in this stressful world.
We participate in a variety of youth shenanigans, from paint ball and miniature golf through college essay workshops and service opportunities. We also regularly attend summer camp at the UCC’s Northern California Nevada Conference camp in Cazadero and the conference’s Fall and Winter Youth gatherings.
