We are an Open and Affirming space for everyone, regardless of gender, race, sexual orientation, or any other identifier. We believe in a fully open, loving, and affirming community and we are committed to the physical, emotional, and mental safety of everyone within our community.
At youth group, we cover topics including faith, social justice, gender and sexual identity, racism, and bullying. We also participate in a variety of generic youth shenanigans.
During the school year (September to May), we offer the following programs:
VORTEX (grades 6-8)
FLUX (grades 9-12)
1st-4th SUNDAYS, 6:00-8:00 P.M.
We invite all youth to go deeper into faith formation, social justice, and cultural issues.
1st Sunday: Dinner at Church
On the First Sunday, youth are invited to a community dinner and interactive worship experience)
2nd Sunday: Faith Formation
On the Second Sunday, youth are invited to delve more into their personal beliefs and experiences through lessons and activities
3rd Sunday: Spiritual Practices
On the Third Sunday, youth get to learn about and experience an interactive lesson on a specific spiritual practice
4th Sunday: Beyond Our Walls
On the Fourth Sunday, we take a look at the beliefs and practices of different Christian denominations and of other world religions
Throughout the school year and the summer, we have a variety of events happening.
