OPENING PRAYER
CALL TO WORSHIP
ONE: So many voices fill our ears today
from the internet,
from the sports arena,
From the news desk.
ALL: Help us in this moment God, as we strive to listen first for Your
voice, to respond to Your call, to follow Your highest path for our
lives.
ONE: Many voices are viewing for our attention today
in our homes,
in our friendships,
and in our community.
ALL: Still our hearts and calm our spirits as we try and hear what your
unbounded Love has to teach us.
ONE: Celebrities, commercials, politicians, pundits, all clamoring for
our attention and allegiance. May we stop to listen for the quiet
voice of your spirit first and foremost.
ALL: Let us choose this day to listen for Your voice,
To follow in your way, to stride ahead as your people. May we
worship in spirit and in truth.
