Rev. Tom Gough was born, raised, and educated in Maine. After graduating from Bates College (Theater/Rhetoric), Rev. Tom hesitantly followed a call toward seminary and the ministry. In 1985 he graduated from the University of Edinburgh’s Faculty of Divinity at New College and returned to the United States eventually to begin a career as preacher, teacher, and pastor that would take him all around the United States and acquaint him with some of the nicest communities in the country. He has served churches in Maine, Wyoming, Montana, Massachusetts, Illinois, and now — finally — California.
While he loves to preach, teach, and wear bow ties (bow ties are cool), his special passions are in the realms of Progressive Christian theology, Celtic Christian Spirituality, and helping the Church envision a lively future.
