On this year, Monday, November 20, 2017, we as a community recognize Transgender Remembrance Day.
This is a day where we stop and take a moment in time to recognize those transgender siblings in Christ whose lives have been tragically cut short due to intolerance and hate. We weep and mourn with those who live without their loved ones while simultaneously working together to be the community of faith they need us to be on their grief journeys.

*We will also be having a special recognition of this day at our Worship Service on Sunday, November 19, 2017. We will have special selections by the choir and moments of silence and meditation for those lives that have been lost.
Romans 12: 15-16 (New Revised Standard Version)
15 Rejoice with those who rejoice, weep with those who weep. 16 Live in harmony with one another; do not be haughty, but associate with the lowly; do not claim to be wiser than you are.
